HURRICANE DORIAN RELIEF EFFORT

THANK YOU FOR CARING AND SHARING

BECAUSE OF YOUR GIFTS…

We helped to deploy the first emergency relief hospital in the Bahamas.

As of Wednesday morning, September 11, the Samaritan’s Purse emergency field hospital opened to provide lifesaving care to victims – their teams saw over 50 patients that morning, and doctors have already begun performing emergency surgeries. Samaritan’s Purse is working closely with the local hospital, which has been able to refer all patients to the Samaritan’s Purse hospital so that they can begin critical repairs to their facility.

PRAYER

The doctors of Samaritan’s Purse pray over victims and share the gospel with them in addition to dispersing medical care to those in need.

Family Reunification

Hundreds of family members and children have been misplaced. Samaritan’s purse works to reunite families.

CARE

Samaritan’s purse is a mobile hospital. It is fully equipped for primary and emergency care. Includes triage center, emergency room, pharmacy, and laboratory.

THERE IS STILL SIGNIFICANT NEED

A generous donor from the National Christian Foundation of South Florida has stepped up to offer a $130,000 matching gift. Through The Angel Relief Fund, we are responding to the immediate critical needs of Bahamian people and also fueling the long term rebuilding of the Church in even the most remote islands of the Bahamas. TheĀ  Bahamas will still be feeling the impact of Hurricane Dorian long after most have forgotten about the storm.
